Four specialized sessions mapping directly to the E2E Healthcare Innovation Eco-system.

Session A

How to Set Up a Successful Health Start-up

Session B

Essential Business Skills for Health Innovators

Core operational skills every founder must master: accounting and financial management, taxation in Kenya, marketing a health innovation, human resources essentials, company registration step by step via the BRS portal, and licensing and permits.

Session C

Assembling a Winning Team

The human dimension of building a health innovation company: identifying skills gaps, co-founder dynamics, hiring your first employees, building an advisory board, team culture and resilience, and gender and inclusion in health innovation.

Session D

Collaboration with Limited Resources

How strategic collaboration multiplies impact without multiplying cost: university-industry partnership models, consortium grant writing for Wellcome Trust, EDCTP, NIH Fogarty and UKRI, open innovation, leveraging the KUKHA network, and North-South and South-South partnership dynamics.
